About Us

The story of Elk Country Farm - Terry & Glenda Elkow

Our full time passion is our herd of about 100 elk. We started raising elk on our own farm about 10 years ago. Since the day we brought our first animals home we've never stopped enjoying them.

Every spring we marvel at the antler growth on the majestic bulls. We've spent hours in the spring and summer watching the calves play while their mothers keep a watchful eye. And then as fall arrives, the sound of bugling bulls signifies that rut (breeding) season is here.

Elk are very intelligent animals that have their own distinctive personalities. We have a great respect and love for our elk, our industry and our farm. We've met some wonderful people because of being in this industry and we are proud to be a part of it.
